Step 4: Emergency Fund

There is nothing more important than having an emergency fund. Without one, an emergency can derail your finances and life.

Make sure to save for at least 3 to 6 months of living expenses. COVID-19 taught us that life can be flipped upside down in a second. Thus, having an emergency fund will keep you on your feet.
